Saland Record: Children
and Families/Human Services
As the former Chairman
of the Senate Committee on Children and Families, Senator
Saland worked closely with many organizations serving to
bring a better life to vulnerable and victimized families.
Senator Saland has worked to see that our local
organizations providing critically necessary services to our
communities have received over $2,649,380 in grants.
Whether the funding has been applied to a battered women's
shelter or a volunteer literacy organization, the grants are
helping those most in need.
